Summer Lookbook Bohemian Pastel-Goth Alternative fashion inspired

Summer is upon us so lets celebrate the warmth of the sunshine and the sting of the after burn with a stylish start to this season. So here are some oh so very bright looks that'll definitely catch the eye of everyone around, so put your sunglasses on cause you're about to witness a hell of a sight. If you want to see how these outfits flow and sway in motion then click the link for the video on my YouTube channel avril vanes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaaiWJ5zutw

Garden of Thorns: taking a risk to be surrounded by pretty roses even if it means getting pricked by their viciously sharp thorns. It's a beautifully piercing experience.

In this outfit, I'm wearing a short floral dress with cut-outs (Primark) and under it I have on a blue lace top (Primark) which ties in with the colors of the flowers on the dress. For Shoes I have on blue ballerina flats (Primark) which is also the color of some flowers on the dress.
Tip: If you are wearing a bold dress with screaming colors and/or patterns then go for solid metallic jewellery that is either gold, silver or gold-rose.
For jewellery, I have on a silver spiked  necklace (Boutique) and a matching silver spiked bracelet (Republic). For rings, I'm wearing on one hand: a silver wing ring (Claire's), a silver ring with a green gem (Boutique) and an owl silver ring (Claire's). On the other hand, I have a silver leaf ring (Primark) and I'm wearing a silver ear cuff   (Primark) as a ring with a leaf hanging from it as a mid-finger-ring.

Floral Royal: the queen of hearts is sweeter than you think!

In this look, I'm wearing a coral-raspberry floral lace top (Boutique) and under it is a lilac crop top (Republic). I've got on a purple lace skirt (Primark) and for shoes I have on a pair of black ballerina flats (Primark) with laser cut-outs and rhinestones that reflect the color of the lace top.
Tip: when in doubt go for a black shoe as you can never go wrong with a neutral color like black.
For jewellery, I have on a red-purple chocker with a heart pendant which I DIY'ed. I also have on a flower crown that I DIY'ed and a pair of purple crystal earrings (Debenhams).

Greek Goddess: immortality is a belief that only a few can make it real.

For this look, I wore a flowy white top with splashes of baby blue and hints of lilac (Boutique) which I dyed and the top has a beautiful lace trim. I also wore a creamy-grey lace skirt (H&M) and a pair of blue ballerina flats (Primark).
Tip: dyeing your stained clothes is a great way of reviving them and giving them a  new life.
For jewellery, I wore a silver cuff with a cross cut-out (Republic), a bunch of silver beaded bracelets (Primark) and a silver bracelet with pastel blue beads. I also wore a silver necklace with silver coins (Primark) and silver earrings (Primark).

Classically Trendy: simplicity is complicated and being trendy is always dated.

In this look, I wore a white and navy blue striped top with a heart-neckline (Primark) and a matching skirt with wider stripes and large silver buttons at the front of the skirt (Republic). I also wore a grey and navy blue striped wide rim summer hat and a pair of blue ballerina flats.
Tip: wearing a summer hat with a large rim is not just a great accessory but a beneficial way of protecting yourself from the sun harmful rays as well as making it easier for you to see.
For jewellery, I kept it simple due to the bold stripes pattern all across this look, with a striped chocker with silver safety pins as a pendant which I DIY'ed.
